SiRhodes was my first and only driving instructor who has helped me, my brother and my sister pass our driving tests. Arranging lessons with Si was extremely easy to do (via phonecalls, texts or arranged at the end of lessons) and had good value for money based on the quality of service he provides. Lessons were generally arranged on a weekly basis at £25 per hour (besides the first introductory lesson which was £25 for 2 hours) and the times that the lessons were arranged on were flexible around working hours.
As soon as lessons began, it was clear that Si is really open and friendly instructor who tries his best to make sure lessons are enjoyable; he appreciates a learner who will let him know what they are struggling with, as it allows him to help correct any issues.
I felt like I had always learned a lot after each lesson and any problems I did encounter we would work on until they were sorted. Si steadily introduced new aspects to the lessons in a careful manner (from using main roads to performing manouvres), none of these felt rushed; I was eased into it. In some cases diagrams were used to help approach certain situations.
SiRhodes has also offered to arrange a motorway lesson in the future should I need it.

Within 9 months of my first lesson I was ready for the driving test and managed to pass first time.

As a slightly older student (27) I was a bit hesitant about finally going through with driving and having a test but after speaking to Simon on the phone I felt fully at ease and had a lesson booked for in a week's time. All of the lessons were thorough and fun, which was a major plus; we covered everything from the basics up to the manoeuvres at a pace that I felt comfortable with and, whilst he pushed me to be better he always did it in a positive and fair way resulting in a great exam result.

Price-wise it was great value for money and each lesson left me more confident than the one before. I've now passed and look forward to finally putting my skills into practice…!

Si is a brilliant instructor and I thoroughly enjoyed each lesson that I had with him. He is very friendly and is full of great advice. Been driving with simon since I was 17. Im now 25. My head wasnt in it so I kept quitting. But when I knuckled down I would always go back to Simon. And did it finally stuck at it and I've passed! He is the most patient, consistent and down to earth insturctor. I wouldnt reccomend anyone else. Thank you.
